Ametrine Chip Beads

These beautiful chip beads hold a light purple colouring within them. Each one of these beads on the strand is unlike the rest, and would make for some beautiful jewelry pieces!

Basic Information

Ametrine is a naturally occurring variety of Quartz that is a mixture of Amethyst, and Citrine with distinct portions of purple and yellow. Ametrine is almost exclusively mined in Bolivia (the reason for its trade name, Bolivianite) or Brazil. The different color portions are due to different oxidation states of the iron within the crystal.

Metaphysical

Ametrine is believed to contain the metaphysical properties of both Amethyst and Citrine combined into one, as well as its own additional properties. It is thought to stimulate intellect, cleanse your aura of negativity, and aid in removing inner prejudices. Ametrine has been associated with the Root Chakra and the Crown Chakra, and is thought to help align the two Chakras together.
