Howlite is a mineral found in evaporite deposits that has a monoclinic structure, and scores a 3.5 on the Mohs scale. Howlite has a very porous texture and quite often is dyed because of this. Its nodules are white with fine web-like veins that are grey or black, which creates a very distinct marble-like pattern when polished.

These Blue Howlite beads are so very unique. There are 4 different styles to choose from, each style being quite stunning. The donut shape ones are very cool with their inclusions, the rounds being covered in inclusions, the marquise ones have such a beautiful color and the flat oval beads are more of a turquoise color with brown inclusions
