Despite the name, Himalayan Salt is actually commonly from the Punjab region of Pakistan! This famous Pakistan salt mine deposit is thought to have been discovered back in 326 BC by Alexander the Great, but the first recorded mining from of this deposit is from the Janjua people in the 1200's.

Use for general cleansing and purification, peace and calming, and goodwill. This mineral combines the energies of the sun, the earth, the stars, and the primordial sea.
